This store opens with what the sister project had already verified about the Chicago side, because the two stories were never separate: Kekionga and Shikaakwa sat at opposite ends of the same water road, and William Wells rode from one to die at the other. It is small on purpose. Everything in it is checkable, and it grows one honest row at a time.
The Cast
The Ground where it happened, and how well the record knows it
Every location carries a second value beside its coordinates, saying how far the record can actually be trusted: exact is a surveyed or still-standing thing; approximate is the right ground, not the right yard; disputed means the record disagreed with itself; withheld is deliberately coarsened and left that way on purpose. Burial locations are not sharpened here, ever.
