Every marker below sits on real OpenStreetMap tiles, at the coordinate the research store carries for it — the one deliberate exception to this site otherwise drawing nothing it has not sourced itself: the coastline and streets come from OpenStreetMap contributors, not from this store's own research. Every marker also links out to OpenStreetMap and Google Maps directly. A second value beside each coordinate says how far the record can be trusted to have found the spot: exact is a surveyed or still-standing thing; approximate is the right ground, not the right yard; disputed means the record disagreed with itself; withheld is deliberately coarsened and left that way on purpose. Burial locations are not sharpened here, ever.
